Nitya Shivraman, MD

Hello friends and neighbors. I am Dr. Shivraman, I am a US citizen, a board certified Internal Medicine MD.

I grew up in Michigan and though we have moved many times for career, education, family and adventure, I’ve held onto my Midwest practical sensibilities and openness.

I have been an inpatient specialist for over 16 years, I trained in NYC at a Columbia affiliated program, worked in a Brown University hospital, have been part of the Harvard Faculty Physicians group, worked in Rural health helping underserved communities in the Pacific Northwest.

The sunshine and beautiful waters of the Gulf Coast. called me here to Sarasota, where I have finally settled down with my supportive husband and three wonderful kids. We have put down our roots along with the mango tree in our backyard and finally feel like we have found the place where we can be a positive part of the changes we want to see, starting with building community.

I waited a long time to find the perfect primary care environment for me where the patients come first and the company stands by me in support of a better way to care for people.
